In your role as a lawyer in our team, you will play a pivotal role across a spectrum of cases, including Accident Benefits, Tort, Property, Anti-fraud investigations, defence and prosecutions, and Appellate work. Your contribution is integral to our success.

- Carriage of files;
- Preparing opinions and pleadings;
- Conducting EUOs, Discoveries, Case Conferences, Mediations, Arbitrations, Pre-trials and Trials;
- Developing file resolution strategies and engaging in settlement negotiations;
- Reporting to clients; and
- Contributing to our industry through a variety of opportunities: speeches, papers, training, and industry events.
Some of the essentials that would make for a great fit:
- The goal is to hire:a senior lawyer (8+ years) of experience in insurance defence litigation;
- Deep knowledge of Accident Benefits and tort (experience with anti-fraud, property and/or coverage is an asset);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
- Solid research skills;
- A robust work ethic;
- The ability to prioritize assignments and work in consideration of deadlines; and
