Your role, as a Briefing/Junior Insurance Defence Law Clerk, will be to assist with document management, particularly new files, and grow your skills while being supported by a great team.

Job Details

In addition to a great attitude and genuine interest in being part of a team, here are some areas of expertise that would make for a great fit:

• Intake, organization and briefing of files;
• Preparing medical indices and summaries; and
• Assisting with document briefs

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Law Clerk Certification or undergraduate degree;
• 1 - 2 years of experience as a Law Clerk handling Accident Benefits and tort insurance defense files‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬;
• Familiar with the Rules of Civil Procedure and LAT Rules of Practice;
• Ability to manage large volume of documents and work in a fast paced paperless environment;
• Strong tech skills (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.);
• Confident ability to manage multiple priorities while being time conscious and deadline oriented;
• Enjoy being proactive and working in a team
